“Designed for both beginners and experienced players, take on a unique tactical battlefield where natural terrain meets exciting obstacles. Dive for cover inside a real night bus, navigate around a lake and waterfall, cross winding creeks, scale rolling hills, or take position behind wooden huts and custom sniper nests.” – Paintball Siem Reap by Wake Park Cambodia
What is paintballing?
Paintballing is a fun game that involves using air or gas powered guns that shoot paint filled capsules at your opposition, which explode on impact leaving paint splashes! At Paintball Siem Reap, there are 10 game modes available. On our last visit, we opted to play a version of capture the flag which involves getting to your opposition’s home “base” and capturing it. Shooting a player with a paintball eliminates them, and while they are “dead”, they are unable to shoot you back and you’re able to make a run for it!
Interestingly, paintball guns were originally designed for agricultural purposes so that workers could mark trees or cattle from a distance. Nowadays however, it’s just a great way to have fun, or get revenge on your boyfriend when he didn’t put the toilet seat down!

How much does it cost?
At Paintball Siem Reap, the base cost is only $15 which we think is an absolute bargain! This includes everything you need to get started which means;
– Paintball Guns
– Safety Equipment (face protection, gloves, overalls)
– 120 Paintballs to get you started
It is usually advised to wear old, closed toe shoes, or shoes that can be washed as these can get dirty. However, if you want – Army style shoes are available to rent at the site for only $2, so you can have protective footwear and not have to worry about cleaning them. We recommend doing this, especially if you’ve only packed flip flops!
Group deals are also available for 10-20 people!
The overalls will make sure your clothes stay clean from paint as well as provide protection from the impact of the paintballs! Bear in mind, Cambodia is a very hot country so we advise dressing light underneath the overalls and drinking plenty of water to avoid over heating! Especially if you’re planning to visit during the hotter parts of the day. They’ll also provide different colour vests for each team so you know who to shoot!

How does it work?
When you arrive at Paintball Siem Reap, you’ll be given a full safety briefing to make sure everyone is safe and having fun. There are different game modes to choose from and the staff will go through these with you and let you make a decision on how you want to play. The staff will be present throughout your games to make sure everything is running safely and smoothly, and to help if you have any issues. They’ll also take some photos for you during the action which they can send to you later, so you’ll have a fantastic keepsake from your day. Try not to shoot them, they’re super friendly!
Minimum group size is 6 people, giving you the option of a 3v3 match. However, paintball Siem Reap can accommodate much larger group sizes too. The duration of your game will be roughly 1-2 hours, so it’s easy to fit in around all the other awesome things to do in Siem Reap.
The paintballing venue here is an outdoor arena which has been carefully designed by the owners to have plenty of cover from incoming paintballs, in the form of obstacles you can hide behind including the natural features of the land but also buildings and various man made objects that are scattered around. Hide behind some tyres, shoot your girlfriend, then make a run for it and claim victory!

Paintball Siem Reap uses non-toxic biodegrable paintballs so you don’t need to worry about getting the paint on your skin. If you’re having a really great time and have shot your best mate a little bit too much (or you’re just a really bad aim) you can easily purchase more paintballs during the games which a staff member will help you refill. Cold drinks are also available for purchase and you’ll be desperate for that cold can of Coke during your breaks!
At Paintball Siem Reap, full paintballing with the high quality, professional standard imported guns is available to players of all abilities from 10 years and older. Parental approval is required for those eager under 14’s who wish to play.
Thanks to their new offerings with low impact paintball markers, Paintball Siem Reap accepts players from 10 years old and for players who choose the low impact option, the game is completely pain free!
